Eligibility Criteria of NIACL Assistant Recruitment


Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st December 2024 .

Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC / HSC / Intermediate / Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01/12/2024

Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.

Selection Process of NIACL Assistant Post


The selection process will consist of online tests (Preliminary & Main Examination). Candidates qualifying in the Main Examination will be further shortlisted for Regional Language Test before the final selection.

Tier I : Preliminary Examination

Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) of 100 marks, would be of one hour duration and will consist of 3 sections as follows :-

Tier III: Regional Language Test

The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for the same.

The scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination will be considered while arriving at the Final Ranking subject to their qualifying the Regional Language Test. Candidate should be sufficiently high in the Merit List to be shortlisted for subsequent Recruitment process.

Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear in SLET Exam. Candidates who qualify in the Test are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor within the jurisdiction of the Member-States of this SLET Commission .

Number of Chances: A candidate can avail any number of chances.

Candidates who qualify in the Test are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor within the jurisdiction of the Member-States of this SLET Commission .

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have secured atleast 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in case of General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates. However, the scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PWD) Category, the Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer who have secured atleast 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master degree or equivalent examination are eligible to appear in the Test.

**Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the final qualifying Master degree (final year) examination and result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examination have been delayed may also apply for this Test.

(iii) Duly attested M.A/ M.Sc./M.Com. certificate and Mark-sheet should be uploaded only along with the photograph and signature.

(iv) Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC along with non-creamy layer certificate / PWD/EWS category certificate, if applicable, from authorized person should be uploaded.

(v) The size of each of the scanned photo & signature should be within the range of 5 to 50kb and properly cropped.

(vi) Before submitting the form, applicants will get a chance to modify his/her application detail. But after the final submission of application, applicants will not be able to edit the application.

(vii) Once submitted, portal will generate a unique Application ID. The applicants are required to note down carefully the unique Application ID for all future references including Admit Card Download.

(viii) Once an applicant completes the application submission process, the applicant can print the Acknowledgement Slip for future reference.

Eligibility To Appear in AISSEE 2025


Class VI:

❖ A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25. 
❖ Admission for Girls is open for Class VI.

Class IX:

❖ A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2024, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2011 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2024-25.

Passing Marks for AISSEE Entrance Exam:

A candidate is eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools, if he/ she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE 2022. However, admission will be based on relative merit (in AISSEE) of candidate in his/ her category in the school opted by him/ her, medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.

However, no minimum marks are prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within their respective categories, subject to their meeting the eligibility requirements, medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.

In case an SC/ST/OBC(NCL) category candidate comes in the general merit on his/ her own, he or she would be admitted against general seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST/OBC(NCL) seats. 


AISSEE 2025 Application/ Exam Fee


Candidates appearing for AISSEE 2024 must pay an application fee as mentioned below. Application fee must be pay only through online mode.

• Rs. 650/- : Scheduled castes (SC)/Scheduled tribes (ST)
• Rs. 800/- : General/ Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/ OBC(NCL)

The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/ credit cards or internet banking or PAYTM Wallet.
