An eminent scholar having a Ph.D degree in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engage in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer- reviewed or UGC – listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria of UGC (Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC guideline).
 

ii. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University / College as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, and / or research experience at an equivalent level at the University / National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

B.
i. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D Degree in the relevant / allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not including in A above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he / she has ten years’ experience.

 

2. FINANCE & ACCOUNTS OFFICER
 

i. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
 

ii. At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in Academic level 12 and above including as an Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration.

The Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Asoni (MMNMA) is an important educational initiative of the Government of Assam aimed at encouraging girl students to continue their education after matriculation. The scheme provides financial assistance to eligible girl students studying in higher secondary, graduation and postgraduate courses.

The main purpose of the scheme is to increase girls' participation in education, reduce school and college dropouts, improve the state's Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), and discourage child marriage.

What is Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Asoni ?

Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Asoni is a financial assistance scheme for eligible girl students who are pursuing education in eligible government and venture educational institutions in Assam.

The scheme covers students studying in:

• Graduation such as B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com.
• Post-Graduation such as M.A., M.Sc. and M.Com.
• B.Ed.

Who Cannot Apply for Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Scheme 2026

• Married girls are generally not eligible, except students in the PG and B.Ed. categories.
• In-service girls admitted to B.Ed. on deputation are not eligible.
• Daughters of Ministers, MPs and MLAs are not eligible.
• Students who receive a scooter under the Bani Kanta Kakati Award are not eligible at the same time. However, a girl who opts out of receiving the scooter may apply for Nijut Moina.
• Students who discontinue their studies/drop out cannot continue receiving the benefit. 

• Girl students studying in private colleges, universities or schools. 

 

 

Objectives of Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Asoni

The Government of Assam has introduced the scheme with several important objectives:

1. Increase Girls' Enrollment in Higher Education: The scheme encourages more girls to continue their studies after matriculation and pursue higher education.

2. Reduce Dropout Rates: Financial assistance can help reduce the financial pressure that may otherwise force students to discontinue their education.

3. Improve Female Education in Assam: The scheme aims to increase the percentage of girls pursuing education beyond matriculation.

4. Increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio: Another objective is to increase the overall Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) of Assam.

5. Discourage Child Marriage: By encouraging girls to remain in education, the scheme also seeks to address the social problem of child marriage.

1. Psycho-Social Counsellor

No. of Post: 1 

 

Remuneration: Rs.25,000/- 

 

Educational Qualification: The counsellor should be a woman and possess the following qualifications: 

 

• Degree/Diploma in psychology/psychiatry /neurosciences with a background in the health sector 

 

• Preferably minimum three years of experience of working with a government or non-government health project/programme at the district level.

 

2. Case Worker

No. of Post: 1  

 

Remuneration: Rs.25,000/-  

 

Educational Qualification: The case worker should be a woman, a resident of the local community (so that local human resource and expertise is utilised for effective functioning of the centre) and possess the following basic qualifications:
 

• A Bachelor’s degree in law/social work/sociology/social science/psychology.
• Minimum three years of experience of working on women related relevant domains.

 

3. Multi Purpose Worker

No. of Post: 3  

 

Remuneration: Rs.14,000/-  

 

Educational Qualification: Multi purpose worker preferably a woman can be any person who is literate with knowledge/ experience of working in the relevant domain and possess the basic qualifications.
 

• An individual with a High School Degree

4. Security

No. of Post: 3 

 

Remuneration: Rs.12,000/-  

 

Educational Qualification: Services of a Security Guard can be Rs. 12000/- outsourced to any persons with the following qualifications:
 

• Minimum two years of experience of working as the security guard in the govt. or reputed organisation at the district/ state level.

Age Limit

The candidate must be minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026 with a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST (H), ST (P); 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 10 years for person with Disability (PwD) for all categories.

Eligibility Criteria of Punjab National Bank Recruitment
