Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway), RRC/ NFR, Guwahati has released a job advertisement for recruitment 6777 Act Apprentices vacancy for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/ Units in the jurisdiction of N.F. Stipend: Currently, the minimum stipend for NTC/STC holders is ₹ 9,600/- per month. Where one or two years’ exemption is admissible under the Apprenticeship curriculum, stipend shall be ₹ 10,560/- (2nd year – 10% increase) and ₹ 11,040/- (3rd year – 15% increase) respectively, reckoning prior institutional training as per extant instructions. The stipend rates are subject to revision from time to time as notified by appropriate authority.
Period of Apprenticeship: 1 year [1 year 3 months for Medical Laboratory Technician]
Eligibility Criteria of NF Railway Apprentice Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the closing date mentioned in this notification.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disability candidates.
Educational Qualification:
• Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) & Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology): The candidate must be 12th pass (under 10+2 system) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 50% marks in both 10th & 12th.
• Others: The candidate must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Not applicable for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board and also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training OR Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
