Selection Process of SSC Selection Post Phase XIV Recruitment

➢ There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels.

➢ Candidates scoring less than cut-off marks as given below will not be considered for the next stage of recruitment:

Eligibility Criteria of Assam SSUHS GNM Admission

Age Limit: Candidates' age must be minimum 17 years as on 31st December 2026.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess anyone of the following educational qualification to be eligible for getting admitted to GNM course.

 

(a) 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English.

(b) 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the schools recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

(c) 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.

(d) Registered ANM with pass marks.

ANM Registration: Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.

Physical Fitness: Students must be medically fit.

SAMARTH Assam Portal - Online College Admission

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has launched a web portal called "SAMARTH". SAMARTH Admission Portal is a common application portal of Assam where students can apply online for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses like BA, BCom, BSc etc. and Five-Year Integrated Masters Programme (FYIMP). The Education Minister of Assam launched the SAMARTH Admission Portal on 14th June 2023.

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has developed an online admission portal called SAMARTH. The SAMARTH Online Admission Portal will be used to receive applications for admission to various colleges and universities in Assam for various undergraduate courses. 

This will reduce the hassle of students submitting separate applications for different colleges. The portal will provide students with an option to submit applications for admission to a maximum of 10 institutes. Also, it will solve the overlapping issue by allowing each student to take admission in only one institute. Similarly, this portal will help institutions and governments to implement various welfare schemes directly.

Key Information for Students

➢ No Registration Fees: Accessing prospectus on the portal or websites will not require any additional fees. There is no registration fee for admission via the Samarth portal or institutional websites.

➢ Students will only pay the prescribed admission fees, as per the uniform fee structure approved by the Government of Assam, for regular courses and shall pay actual fee amount for the self-financed courses as applicable.

➢ Students eligible for Fee waiver will apply accordingly.

How to Apply on SAMARTH Assam Portal

Students who have passed Higher Secondary (HS) final examination and want to get admission into Bachelor's Degree courses now have to apply online through Samarth Portal. The Samarth Online Admission Process has been mentioned below.

Step 1: Go to the Important Links section below

Step 2: Click Online Application Form Link.

Step 3: Complete the Register process putting your basic details.

Step 4: After that, enter all personal and educational information as required.

 

Step 5: Next you have to upload documents.

Step 6: Finally Submit the form. An acknowledgment receipt will be generated.

 

The admission process is divided into two steps:

Step 1: Students are required to register and complete their profiles starting from 11th April 2026, 04:00 PM onwards.

Step 2: After Class 12th results are declared, students will select their preferred institutions and programs. (Step 1will remain open even after commencement of Step 2)

Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - II has started the Online Admission/ Registration Process/ Form Fill up for HS First Year Admission 2026. An online web portal called “Darpan” has beeen launched for HS 1st Year Admission. The online Admission process started on 12th April 2026. The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2026 Merit List will be available on the DARPAN official website. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice by visiting Darpan portal . 

Apply Process for Assam HS First Year Admission 2026

Students who passed HSLC 2026 exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - II must apply online.

➢ Click on HS First-Year Admission link.

➢ A portal will load, Login using your HSLC Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).

➢ After that, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.

➢ Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and other necessary documents.

➢ After filling and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.

➢ After submitting the application, keep the system generated acknowledgment for future use.
