Admission for M.Sc. Nursing Course: Regional College of Nursing (SSUHS), Guwahati - Session 2018

Admission Notice

Applications in prescribed form are invited from candidates intending to undergo M.Sc. Nursing Courses for the session 2018 in the Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati. Prescribed Form to be obtained from 30.07.2018 (during office hours) from the office of the principal, Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati. Candidates have to deposit DD/ Banker's Cheque of Rs. 200/- for Application Form, drawn in favor of "Srimanta Shankaradeva University of Health Sciences" payable at "SBI, GMC Branch, Guwahati". The last date for submission of application is 16.08.2018.

The Entrance Examination will be conducted on 02.09.2018 at Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati. from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Examination consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. There shall be no negative marking.

An amount of Rs. 4800/- as Examination fees shall have to pay in the form of Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn in favor of "Srimanta Shankaradeva University of Health Sciences" payable at "SBI, GMC Branch, Guwahati" and shall have to submit along with the Application Form.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates shall have to pass B.Sc. Nursing degree or equivalent.
• Candidates must be a Citizen of India.
• Candidates must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
• At least 1 (one) year work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or minimum 1-year experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• R.N./ R.M. or equivalent certificate with State Nursing Councill.
• Must possess minimum 55% marks in B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. 5% marks relaxable for SC/ ST candidates.
• In the case of N.E.C. candidates, the PRC will not be required.
