Applications are invited for eligible Indian citizen for filling up the posts of Research fellow, PA to Director and Typist on contractual basis under the Agro-Economic Research Centre, North-East. Candidates who are eligible and intending to apply may submit the prescribed form with all necessary supporting documents on or before the last date 13.08.2018.

1. Research Fellow

Total Post: 01

Qualification: Second Class Master's degree in Economics/ Agriculture Economics/ Statistics. Working knowledge of Computer application is essential.

Consolidated pay per month: Rs. 16,000/- +HRA+MA.

Maximum Age limit as on 01.01.2018: 44-years.

2. PA to Director

Total Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science with good command over English. Knowledge of Computer application is essential. A diploma in Stenography is required.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 8,000-35,000/- with GP of Rs. 4,900/- per month.

Maximum Age limit as on 01.01.2018: 44-years.

3. Typist

Total Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science. Proficiency in Computer typing application with a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with GP of Rs. 2,500/- per month.

Maximum Age limit as on 01.01.2018: 44-years.

Application Fee: DD/IPO of Rs.300/- for Unreserved candidates and Rs.150/- for SC/ST/PH candidates must be drawn in favor of Director, AERC, AAU, Jorhat.

Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit is relaxable as per Government Rule for the reserved category candidates.
