A walk in interview will be held for the recruitment of Assistant Professor at Cotton University on a contractual basis. Bio-data are invited from interested and qualified candidates on or before 1st August 2018. Post: Assistant Professor (Contractual)

Department: Mass Communication & Journalism.

Qualification: 

• Must possess Master degree in Mass Communication from recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates should have a good academic record with a minimum of 55% marks.
• National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC or an equivalent examination accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.

Age: Maximum 43-years.

Relaxation of age/ marks/ grades etc. as per Govt of Assam rules.

Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month.

Engagement Duration: Initially for 1 year, may be extended later on.

Application Fee: Rs. 1,000/-

Applicants are advised to bring self-attested copies of all Mark Sheets, Certificates and other supporting documents with them at the time of interview. Applicants come to with a Five minute (maximum 3 slides) PowerPoint/ PDF presentation to demonstrate teaching and conceptual skills on any topic in the subject.
