PMAY (U), Assam invites online application for Interview or/and Written Test from eligible candidates for 68 vacant posts of Municipal Finance Specialist, Social Development Specialist, and MIS Specialist in the city-level technical cell of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Assam. The appointment will be on contractual basis under PMAY-U, Assam. 1. Municipal Finance Specialist
Total Vacancies: 27
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month with all emoluments.
Qualification cum Experience:

  • Candidates should possess a Graduate degree in Finance or equivalent qualification. 3-5 years experience is essential. 
  • Candidates should have skills to evaluate urban infrastructure investments and helping city governments in financing projects.


2. Social Development Specialist
Total Vacancies: 28
Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/- per month with all emoluments.
Qualification cum Experience:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate/Diploma in Social Science. Practical working experience with community/slums in the urban area.
  • 3-5 years experience in social and community development and appraisals in the municipal environment are essential.
  • Other experience such as / social mobilization/ social analysis/ participatory methods/ resettlement & rehabilitation are essential.
  • It is also essential to have knowledge and experience in community mobilization and participatory planning.


3. MIS Specialist
Total Vacancies: 13
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month with all emoluments.
Qualification cum Experience: 
  • Candidates must have a Graduate degree/Post Graduate degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Electronics or MCA/PGDCA. 
  • Working experience in Government/ Semi Govt./ Autonomous Organizations/ Reputed Private Company for 3-5 years. 
  • Experience in software development & database management is also essential. 
  • Candidates should acquire fluency in the local language. Graduate/PG or Diploma in Social Sciences and working experience in community/slums in the urban areas.
