Eligible candidates are invited for a walk in interview to be conducted on 6 August 2018 for the recruitment of the post Scientist 'B' (Medical) and Project Technical Officer (Statistician) on contractual basis for  a period of 1-year (renewable subject to satisfactory performance) in the office of 200 Bedded Cancer Hospital, Gauhati Medical College.

1. Scientist- B (Medical)

Total Post: 1 (one)

Essential Qualification: MD in P&SM.

Desirable: Additional Post doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subjects. Knowledge of computer applications.

Age limit: Below 35 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 66,250 per month plus HRA.

2. Scientist- Project Technical Officer (Statistician)

Total Post: 1 (one)

Essential Qualification: 3-years graduate in Mathematics with Statistics as one of the major subjects/ Economics/ Operational Research/ Agriculture Statics or equivalent with 2-years research experience in the above-mentioned subject.

Desirable: Knowledge of Statistics related computer software. Knowledge of computer application.

Age limit: Below 30 years.

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000 per month.
