Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens in prescribed format for the posts of Supervisor and Counselor for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India sponsored project in Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati. The name of the project is "Regional Satellite Centre of Tobacco Quitline Services" and the engagement for the posts will be on a contractual basis.

1. Supervisor

Total Post: 02

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Qualification: PG in Public Health or Social Work or management in the relevant field.

Desirable: 

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in the health sector.
• Experience in tobacco control issue and knowledge about tobacco control policies (national.international)
• Fluency in speaking & writing Hindi and English language.
• Knowledge of computer application.

2. Counselor

Total Post: 20+2

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month

Qualification: Graduate in psychology/ social work. Fluency in speaking & writing Hindi and English language. Knowledge of computer application.

Desirable: 

• PG in  Psychology/ social work. 
• Experience in tobacco-related work.

Age Limit: 18-years to 38-years

Duration of Project: Initially for 1 (one) year subject to extension by MHFW, govt. of India.
