District & Sessions Judge, Goalpara

Applications are invited from willing candidates who is a citizen of India as defined in articles 5-8 of the Constitution of India in the prescribed Standard form of application published in Assam Gazette Part-IX for filling up the following vacant posts of Peon in the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Goalpara, with usual Scale of Pay and allowances as admissible under the Rules.

No. of posts: 02 [1 (one) post is reserved for ST(H) and 1 (one) post is as per reservation Policy]

Qualification: The minimum qualification of the candidates for the Post is required Class VIII (8) Passed.

The scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000-37,500/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- per month.


Age Limit: A candidate should not be less than 18-years and more than 43-years of Age as on 01.01.2018. the relaxation of upper age limit for reserved category will be as per Rule in force.


The applications should reach the office of the District & Sessions Judge, Goalpara on or before 28 August 2018 accompanied by the following documents:

  • Xerox copies of all certificates in Support of qualification, age, caste and other testimonials.
  • 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs.
  • A Self-addressed envelope (22cm x 10cm) affixing Postal stamp of Rs. 5.00/- only.

The appointment against the sanctioned post will be made in accordance with the provision of the AFRMB Act. 2005.

The Selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the Appointing Authority stating that they will abide by the New Pension Scheme of the Government issued vide Finance Department letter No. BW-3/2003/pt-II/1 dated 25.01.2005.
