UPSC published notification for Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS)-II for the year 2018. Intending candidates who apply for the examination should read the detailed notification and ensure that they fulfill all the requisite eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Candidates are required to apply through Online mode by the website www.upsconline.nic.in.

Name of the Course and No. of Vacancies:

1.Indian Military Academy, Dehradun

Vacancies: 100

Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st July 2000.

2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala

Vacancies: 45

Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st July 2000.

3. Air Force Academy. Hyderabad (Pre-Flying)

Vacancies: 32

Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates 20-years to 24-years age as on 1st July 2019.

4. Officers' Training Academy, Chennai

Vacancies: 225

Age Limit: Candidates should be Unmarried male and should be born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st July 2000.

5.Officers' Training Academy, Chennai-24th

Vacancies: 12

Age Limit: Unmarried women, issueless widows candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st July 2000.

Educational Qualification:

1. For I.M.A. and Officers' Training Academy: Candidates must possess Degree from recognized University.

2. For Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must possess Degree in Engineering.

3. For Air Force Academy: Candidates must possess Degree with (Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Fee: Applicants are required to pay Rs. 200/- as application fee by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by Net Banking, Visa/ Master, Credit/ Debit Card. Female/ SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.

Physical Standards: For admission to the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), candidates must be physically fit.

Willing candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria are advised to apply online using the link www.upsconline.nic.in. The last date for apply online is 03.09.2018.
