Applications are invited in the prescribed form from willing and eligible candidates for filling up 21 (Unreserved) posts against Sports Quota for the year 2018-19.


Sports wise Vacancies:
  1. Athletics: 06
  2. Basket Ball: 02
  3. Bodybuilding: 01
  4. Cycling: 02
  5. Volley Ball: 03
  6. Swimming: 02
  7. Table Tennis: 01
  8. Hockey: 04

Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (10+2) or its equivalent. OR Matriculation with Course completed Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT.

Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 with GP- Rs.1900/2000 in VI CPC.


Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment:
  1. Represented the country in the Olympic Games (Sr. Category). OR
  2. Represented the country in the international championships/ events either in World cup (Jr./ Sr. category)/ World championships (Jr./Sr. Category)/ Asian Games (Sr. category)/ Commonwealth Games (Sr. category)
  3. Obtained the at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Jr./ Sr. Category)/ Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Jr./ Sr. category) SAF Games (Sr. Category)/ USIC (World Railways) Championships (Sr. Category)
  4. Obtained at least 3rd position in Sr./ Youth/ Jr. National Championships.
  5. Obtained at least 3rd position in National Games under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association.
  6. Obtained at least 3rd position in All India Inter-University Championship under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities.
  7. Obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships. (Senior Category)

Age Limit as on 01.01.2019: 18 years - 25 years. No age relaxation is permissible.


Examination Fee:
  • For SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PWD/ Women: Rs. 250/-
  • For all others: Rs. 500/-


How To Apply: 

The completely filled prescribed application form must be sent through ordinary post addressed to "The Assistant Personnel Officer/ HQ Railway Recruitment Cell, 2nd Floor, Old G.M.'s Office building, Club Road, Hubballi-580023" OR dropped in the application box in the Office on or before 09.10.2018.


For Candidates belonging to Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kasmir, Lahaul & Spirit districts and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands the closing date will be 24.10.2018.
