ONGC’s Hazira Plant invites online applications from promising, energetic, bright and experienced persons in the disciplines of, Electrical, Production, Mechanical, and Chemistry for recruitment at A-1 & A-2 levels.
1. Assistant Technician (Mechanical) - Level-A2
Total Post: 10 [SC-1, ST-1, OBC-4, UR-4]
Qualification: 3 years diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Assistant Technician (Electrical) - Level-A2
Total Post: 02 [SC-0, ST-0, OBC-1, UR-1]
Qualification: 3 years diploma in Electrical Engineering and should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.
3. Junior Assistant Technician (Fitting) - Level-A1
Total Post: 09 [SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3, UR-4]
Qualification: High Scool or Class X Equivalent Board examination with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting.
4. Junior Assistant Technician (Diesel) - Level-A1
Total Post: 05 [SC-0, ST-1, OBC-2, UR-2]
Qualification: High Scool or Class X Equivalent Board examination with Science and Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic.
5. Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical) - Level-A1
Total Post: 03 [SC-0, ST-0, OBC-1, UR-2]
Qualification: High Scool or Class X Equivalent Board examination with Science and Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade. Should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.
6. Junior Assistant Technician (Production) - Level-A1
Total Post: 04 [SC-0, ST-0, OBC-1, UR-3]
Qualification: High School or Class X Equivalent Board examination with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting/ Diesel/ Instrumentation/ Turner/ Machining/ Tractor/Motor Vehicle/ Welding/ Black Smithy/ Boiler Attendant and Machinist Grinder.
7. Junior Assistant Technician (Chemistry) - Level-A1
Total Post: 03 [SC-0, ST-1, OBC-1, UR-1]
Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry as main subject.
Age Limit as on 24/01/2019
- For A1 Posts: Minimum 18 yrs and Maximum 30 yrs.
- For A2 Posts: Minimum 18 yrs and Maximum 40 yrs.
- Relaxation in age will be applicable, i.e. 3 yrs for OBC(NCL) and 5 yrs for SC/ ST candidates.
Pay Scale:
- For Level-A2: Rs.12000 - 27000/-
- For Level-A1: Rs.11000 - 24000/-
Registration Fee:
- For General/ OBC candidates: Rs.370/-
- For all other: Nil
Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks. All questions shall be multiple choice objective types.
