The Assam State Biodiversity Board (ASBB) invites applications from interested post-graduate students in Life Sciences (preferably fresh pass out) for short term engagement under 9th batch of 'Biodiversity Research Associate Programme (BRAP) Fellowship' for the following works:
1. Requirement for assisting selected Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC) of Assam in preparation of their People's Biodiversity Registers (PBR):
Vacancy: 20 Fellows
Desirable qualifications: M.Sc in Life Sciences, preferably Botany and Zoology specialization.
Fellowship: Stipend of Rs 8000 per month + Rs 21,000/- contingency for 3 months towards field visits, documentation etc).
2. Requirement For Updating Digital People's Biodiversity Registers of Assam:
Vacancy: 4 Fellows
Desirable qualifications: M.Sc in Botany (preferably with Taxonomy specialization)
Fellowship: Rs 15000 per month (Fixed)
Age Limit: Min. age 20 years, but not above 30 years.
Duration of engagement: 3 months (Anytime from l5th March 2019 to l5th September 2019).
Selection Procedure: personal interaction and aptifude assessment.
