Central Railway invites ONLINE applications from the following for filling up Two posts in level 3/2 against Cultural Quota, for the year 2018-19 over Central Railway in the following two Cultural disciplines:

Name of Cultural Disciplines and vacancies:

1. Indian classical dancer (Katthak) Male/ Female with experience of choreography in Indian folk dance - [01 Post]

2. Drama artist Male/ Female having experience in overall theatrical activities (Acting, Directing, Lighting, Setting and other sides of theatre) - [01 Post]

A. Academic Qualification:

Passed Higher Secondary (12th) OR its equivalent examination with not less than 50% Marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-servicemen.

OR

Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.

OR

Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.

B. Essential Professional Qualification:

(i) Indian Classical Dancer (Katthak) - Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Kathak dance from Government recognized Institutes.

(ii) Drama Artist - Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Drama / TheatreArts from Government recognized Institutes. 

C. Desirable Qualification: (for both cultural discipline) - (15 marks):

(i) Experience in the field and performance given on TV channels broadcasted at National level.

(ii) Prizes won at National Level. 

Age Group: 18 to 30 (for UR) Plus 05 years for SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC.

Examination Fee:

a) For SC/ ST/ ExS/ PWD/ Women/ Minorities & Economically Backward: Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refund.

b) For all Other: Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400/- (Rs. Four hundred only)

Recruitment Process: Written Test, followed by a Practical Demonstration. Tentative date of written examination – 02/03/2019.
