Applications are invited to fill up the post of Life Guard temporarily in North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) on direct recruitment basis.

Name of the Post: Life Guard

Total Post: 02 (UR)

Educational & Other Qualification:

1. Matriculation (10th Standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
2. Possessing diploma in swim coaching swimming from a recognized institute of sports; and
3. Two years practical experience as Life Guard or swimming job in Government or Commercial Organization.

Pay Scale & Grade Pay: Rs.5,200-20,200 Grade Pay- Rs.1900 (Level-2). Revised pay scale at 7th-CPC Pay matrix Level).

Nature of Duties: To import swimming training to trainees and for safety reasons.

Age Limit (as on 02-04-2019): Between 18-25 years. Relaxable for government servants and for SC and ST as per Govt. rules.

Important Instructions:

1. Trade Test Life Guard: The candidates will be tested in practical knowledge of Life Guard/ Swimming.
2. Medical Examinations: (i) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint eyes, (ii) Standard of eye-sight will be as per the existing prescribed norms issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.

Process of Apply: Prescribed Application as per (Annexure-1) is to be filled up by the candidates and brought during the recruitment. Candidates are required to report with duly filled up application form, copies of required certificates (educational qualification, age, caste, technical qualification, experience etc.) and original of these copies.
