iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications in the Peer-reviewed or UGC- listed journals and the total research score of Seventy Five (75) as per the criteria given in Annexure I. 

3. Assistant Professor:

i) A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.

4. Private Secretary to the Registrar:

i) Graduate with a minimum speed of 140 and 40 words per minute in short hand and typewriting respectively.

ii) At least 10 years’ experience in University system.

iii) Adequate knowledge in computer.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The applicant should propose one innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. for increasing efficiency in agriculture and allied agri sectors.
2. The applicants are expected to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full time.
3. The applicant should have an initial business plan/ proposal for the idea they intend to pursue.
4. Preference will be given to innovative ideas that are towards business-to-business ventures.

Selection Process of Interns for Agripreneurship Orientation:

1. The NEATeHub shall announce the program in various media.
2. All applicants for this program will apply in the prescribed format (Application Form).
3. The selection of agripreneurs that have an innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. and interest in pursuing their entrepreneurial aspirations full time, shall be done by the AAU Incubator’s selection committee constituted for this purpose.
4. Under this program, AAU Incubator will select a batch of 20 agripreneurs that have a workable innovative idea.

Funding Support:

1. A stipend of Rs 10,000/- per month will be granted to these interns for two months during the hands-on training period.
2. Idea/ Pre-Seed Stage Funding: Under this, subsistence grant of a maximum of Rs. 5 lakhs will be provided to interns who have successfully completed the initial two months of agripreneurship orientation program and are aspiring to convert their innovative idea based on technology, service, business platforms etc. into a prototype/ product.
3. Startups supported for idea/ pre-seed stage funding will be eligible for obtaining next stage of Seed Stage Funding after evaluation.

Program Period:

1 August – 30 September July 2019. Accommodation will be provided by NEATeHub at the AAU hostel in Jorhat; However, the cost of travel, food and other incidental personal expenses will have to be borne by the selected agripreneurs.
