Applications in prescribed form are invited from eligible Indian citizens for engagement to the following five (05) positions on contractual basis under ASDMA.

1. Project Officer (Disaster Management)

No. of vacant post: 01

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate Degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having degree/ diploma in Disaster Management.
• Minimum 2 (two) years working experience as a full time paid employee in an organization of repute dealing with Disaster Management.
• Should have knowledge of Disaster Risk Reduction.
• Should have computer skills, specially MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Use of Internet etc.
• Excellent communication skills in Assamese and English.

Age Limit: 21-43 years as on 01/01/2019.

Fixed Remuneration: Lump sum Rs.27,4000/- per month.

Duration of Engagement: The contract will be for a period of one year.



2. Information Assistants for State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC)

No. of vacant post: 04

Essential Qualification:

• Higher Secondary passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Educational Institution.
• Necessary skills in Computer Application (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Surfing, etc.)
• Fluency in spoken Assamese, English and Hindi.
• At least 2 (two) years' experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit: 21-43 years as on 01/01/2019.

Salary: Rs.10,350/- approx

Selection Process: The applicant may have to appear for a written test/ interview at the venue, date and time as decided and directed by the Authority.
