Applications are invited for filling up the following posts in General Reserve Engineer Force (BRO) from Indian National (Male only):

1. Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade)

Total Vacancy: 388 [UR-159, SC-58, ST-29, OBC-104, EWS-38]

Qualification: 

i) Matriculation (10th) and Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence, Or Having passed class III Course for Driven Plant Mechanical Transport.

Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

Age between 18 to 27 years.



2. Electrician

Total Vacancy: 101 [UR-42, SC-15, ST-7, OBC-27, EWS-10]

Qualification: 

i) Matriculation (10th) and Possessing certificate of Auto Electrician from ITI or equivalent and having one year experience as Electrician

Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

Age between 18 to 27 years.



3. Vehicle Mechanic

Total Vacancy: 92 [UR-40, SC-13, ST-6, OBC-24, EWS-9]

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) and Possessing Certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle/ Diesel/ Heat Engine Or Possessing certificate of mechanic in internal Combustion Engine/ Tractor from ITI.

Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

Age between 18 to 27 years.



4. Multi Skilled Worker (Cook)

Total Vacancy: 197 [UR-81, SC-29, ST-14, OBC-53, EWS-20]

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) and Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.

Pay Level - 1 : Rs. 18000-39900 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

Age between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
