IIT Guwahati invites eligible candidates for appearing a Walk in interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled, "Low-cost innovative Technology for water quality monitoring and water resources management for Urban and rural water Systems in India (LOTUS)" at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.

1. Research Associate

Total Vacancy: 01 Post

Qualification: Ph.D/MD/MS/MD or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M,Sc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCl) journal.

Salary: Rs.55770.00

Duration of Appointment: 11 months.

2. SRF (Direct)

Total Vacancy: 02 Posts

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with two years of research experience Working experience on water quality sensor development / modelling of groundwater flow and contaminants / modelling and optimization of water distribution network problems / data driven modelling and artificial intelligence (AI) for water applications.

Salary: Rs.41850.00

Duration of Appointment: 11 months.

3. Project Assistant

Total Vacancy: 01 Post

Qualification: Graduation in Engineering/ Medicine/ Pharma or Graduation in Science with a minimum one year of experience Working experience on water quality analysis, field water sample collection and analysis.

Salary: Rs.23250.00

Duration of Appointment: 11 months.
