Applications are invited for a Walk-in-Interview of One (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST sponsored project under the Principal Investigator Dr. Parasmoni Dutta, Assistant Professor, Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University, Napaam, Assam.

Project Name: “Archiving, Modelling and Visualization of the Eco-Cultural Heritage of the Majuli River island of Assam”

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Total Post: 01

Essential Qualification:

1. Post Graduate degree in any field of Humanities and Social Sciences with NET.
2. Proven skills in videographic / photographic recording and documentation of cultural events and performances.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- only + HRA as admissible per month. 

Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year which may be extended till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier. Maximum duration of the project is three years.

Age: Max. 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

• Venue: In the Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University.

How To Apply: Interested candidates are required appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET or similar examinations, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
