A Walk-in-Interview will be held in the Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University for one (01) temporary position of Research Associate (RA) under the CSIR sponsored research project under the Principal Investigator Dr. Satya Sundar Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam – 784028, Assam.

Name of the Project: “Prospect of a novel protein in earthworm gut to minimize heavy metal risk in vermicompost for sustainable crop production”.

Name of the Post: Research Associate (RA)

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Life Sciences/Biotechnology.

Remuneration: Rs. 36,000/- (Rupees thirty-six thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month.

Duration: One (01) year six (06) months (18 months) or till completion of the project or until further

order, whichever is earlier.

Age: Candidate shall be preferably below 40 years as on the date of interview. The upper age limit

may be relaxed as per the Government of India rules.
