WP & BC Assam : Financial Assistance to ST (P) Candidates for UPSC/ APSC Main Exam 2019

Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam invited applications from intending candidates for "Financial Assistance" to ST (P) students appearing in final examination of APSC/UPSC for the current year 2019.

Scheme: "Financial Assistance" to ST (P) students appearing in final examination of APSC/UPSC for the current year 2019.

Eligibility:

• He / She must belong to ST community of Assam.
• He / She must have passed the APSC/UPSC preliminary exam during the current year.

Note: Grant of financial assistance under this scheme to any ST (P) candidate is not a matter of right. Assistance would be extended depending on the applicant satisfying the eligibility and also keeping in view the financial allocation available for the purpose. The Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof if the application is not found satisfactory. Moreover, this Directorate will not be held responsible for any type of false information/ error provided by the applicant.

All the applications received by the Director, Welfare of Plains Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam will be placed before the Selection Committee which will scrutinize the same and approve the list of beneficiaries under the scheme. There will not be any income limit for availing this benefit.

How To Apply: Applicant will apply in the prescribed format uploaded in the official website "www.directorwptbc.assam.gov.in" for the same along with all the relevant documents to the office of the Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Dispur Last Gate, Satrinivash Path, Ghy-6 within 31st August 2019 positively if he/she fulfills the required eligibility.
