Applications are invited from intending for recruitment to the post of one (01) mo. of Field Officer (Disaster Management) for Revenue Circle on contract basis under District Disaster Management Authority, Lakhimpur District.

Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Science or with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science or Geography as a subject or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Computer skills specially MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Internet Usage/ Email etc. (preference will be given to candidates having done BCA or equivalent course on Computer Science.

Age: 21-43 years as on 1st day of January 2019, and relaxable for SC/ST candidates.

Remuneration: Rs.20000/- (fixed) which includes Pay-Rs.15000, Mobile allowances-Rs.4000/-, Telephone Charges-Rs.1000/-

Duration of Engagement: The contract will initially be for a period upto March 2020 subject to annual renewal on the basis of performance.

Selection Process: Field Officer will be selected on the basis of interview/ written test which will be for 100 marks with following break-up:

• Marks obtained in Graduation/ Diploma Level Exam: 50 Marks
• Knowledge of DM related issues: 20 marks
• Knowledge of Computer: 20 Marks
• Attitude & personality traits: 20 Marks

Last Date of Submission of Application: Application will be received in the Disaster Management Branch, Deputy Commissioner Office, Lakhimpur on or before 15/07/2019 upto 3 PM. 

• Interview Date: 22/07/2019 (Monday)
• Reporting Time: 10 AM to 11.30 AM
• Interview Venue: O/o The Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur.
