Applications are invited in Standard Form for filling up of the following vacancies (Sanctioned posts) of Junior Assistant in the Amalgamated Establishment of the Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri.

Name of the Post: Junior Assistant
No. of vacancies: 04 [UR-3, OBC/MOBC-1]

Qualification: Bachelor Degree and 6 months Diploma in Computer Application/ Knowledge.

Other Qualification:

• Candidates must have registered their name in the Employment Exchange and the registration numbers along with the dates must be mentioned in their applications.
• Candidates must be well versed in the State Official Language.
• Candidates already service shall apply through proper channel.

Age: 18-43 years as on 01/01/2019. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST and PwD candidates as per existing rules.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000-49000/- + GP- Rs.6,200/-


Selection Process: 
(a) Candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant will have to appear in objective type written test of 250 marks comprising of following subjects:

• General English - 75 marks
• General Knowledge - 50 marks
• Quantitative aptitude - 25 marks
• Knowledge of Computer (Theory) - 50 marks
• Language skill in Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Alternative English - 50 marks

Moreover, the candidates shall have to exercise their choice of language at the time of submission of application itself and the choice once exercised shall be final. The choice of language for language skill may be mentioned in the Standard Application Form.

(b) There will also be separate Computer proficiency Practical Test for 50 marks both the English and Assamese.
