Applications are invited from Indian citizens in the Standard Form from intending eligible candidates for filling up of the following vacant Grade-III & IV sanctioned posts under Directorate of Historical & Antiquarian, Assam, Guwahati-781001.

1. L.D. Assistant
No. of Post: 02 (UR)

Qualification: Bachelor Degree with Minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Applications (MS Word, Excel, PPT, Internet page maker, Hardware knowledge and Knowledge of DTP in both English & Assamese.
Scale of Pay: Rs.14000-49000/- plus GP-6200


2. Peon
No. of Post: 02 [UR-1, STH-1]

Qualification: VIII passed.
Scale of Pay: Rs.12000-37500/- plus GP-3900

Age Limit for Both Posts: 18-38 years as on 01/01/2019 and relaxation is applicable for SC/ST etc. as per Govt. rule.

Selection Process:

1. The objective type written test will consist of General Knowledge, General English, Mathematics and Assamese.
2. The successful candidates of written test will be called for computer proficiency test.
3. Original documents are required produced at the time of Interview.
4. There will be Viva-voce for peon posts.
