Applications are invited from willing candidates satisfying the following eligibility criteria for the post of Chairperson, for Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) at Guwahati.

Eligibility: The applicant shall be a retired judicial officer having at least 20 years of experience in legal judicial profession, or a retired civil servant not below the rank of Joint Secretary of the State Government, or a retired Principal of a recognized Engineering College, or a retired member of Faculty of the Electrical Engineering Department of a recognized Engineering College having at least 20 years of service experience.

Maximum Age (as on 01.01.2019): 65 (Sixty-five) years.

Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs 25,000/- p.m. will be allowed. In addition, the Chairperson will be entitled to conveyance allowance of 10% of remuneration per month for attending the official duties of the Forum.

Selection Process:

• The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria with regard to qualification, experience etc. would be
• shortlisted.
• Interview Call Letter for the shortlisted candidate may be notified by email and post, if required.
• The final selection will be the sole discretion of APDCL and no further communication shall be entertained.

1. The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria may send advance copy of their application (Annexure–I) by email at recruitment@apdcl.org. However, their candidature shall be considered only after receipt of the hard copies of the application.
2. Application along with contact details (Mobile No. and E-mail ID) in soft copy is to be sent via email at recruitment@apdcl.org and hard copy of the application should be accompanied by self-attested true copies of all testimonials and certificates in support of qualification, experience and proof of date of birth are to be attached and self-attested passport size photograph to be affixed on the application form. The hard copy of the duly completed application form shall be addressed to the Chief General Manager (HRA), APDCL, Bijulee Bhawan, Paltan Bazar, Guwahati-1.
3. Last date of submission of the applications is 26.08.2019.
