Last Date Extended/ Rescheduled Exam Date/ Upload Documents

In continuation to the earlier advertisement No. SSA/Esstt/Gen-Corres/TET/470/2011/9099 dated 30/08/2019, it is general information of all concerned that the following modifications have been made:

1. Last Date Extended/ Edit Application:

The period of submission of online application of TET Assam 2019 (Lower Primary and Upper Primary) only for the Physically Challenged candidates has been extended and such online applications will be received from 19 September 2019 to 27th September 2019. Physically Challenged candidates who had applied earlier may also edit their Application Form with the help of their Application Number and Password within the above mentioned period.

2. Upload Documents/ Informations:

For Preliminary scrutiny before issue of Admit Card for the Candidates who had submitted online application as *pursuing professional course [B.Ed/ D.El.Ed]

• Name of Institution where pursuing the professional course [B.Ed/ D.El.Ed]
• Mode of professional course [B.Ed/ D.El.Ed] : Regular or ODL
• Image of self-attested Admission receipt with seal of the institution where pursuing the professional course [B.Ed/ D.El.Ed]

Note: *Pursuing professional Course means all those candidates who have submitted the application even though they have not acquired the B.Ed/ D.El.Ed qualification.

Candidates who do not upload the above information/ documents within the stipulated period will be summarily rejected and their fee shall be refunded in due course.

3. New Rescheduled Exam Date:

Date of examination of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), Assam 2019 (Lower Primary and Upper Primary) has been rescheduled on 10th November 2019.

4. Other Terms & Conditions:

(a) For recruitment in Government jobs, upper age limit will be applicable in accordance with prevailing Act/Rules, at the time of recruitment.

(b) In case of detection of submission of false information/ false documents by any candidate, his/ her candidature, qualifying in TET will be considered null and void (even after issuing of TET Certificate) without assigning any reason thereof.
