Applications, in the Prescribed Format, are invited for the following posts to be filled by Direct Recruitment in National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, Rajasthan.

1. Associate Professor

Total Post: 03

Qualification:

• PG in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970.
• Teaching Experience of 5 yrs. out of which 3 Yrs. in Post-Graduate Teaching in the concerned Subject OR five (05) Yrs. Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 with NPA.
• At least 3 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals. 

Pay Scale: Pay Level 12. Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Pre-Revised Grade Pay Rs. 7600 in PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100)

Maximum Age: 50 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

2. Lecturer

Total Post: 12

Qualification: PG in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognised under IMCC Act 1970.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 10. Rs. 56,100-1,77,500.

Maximum Age: 40 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

3. Resident Medical Officer

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: MD/ MS(Ayurved) in the Subject of Kayachikitsa/Panchakarma/Shalya Tantra/Shalakya Tantra/Prasuti Tantra & Stri-Roga/Bala Roga from a recognised University and duly recognised by CCIM.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 10. Rs. 56,100-1,77,500.

Maximum Age: 40 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

4. Clinical Registrar

No. of Post: 02

Qualification: MD(Ayurved)/  MS(Ayurved)

Pay Scale: Pay Level 10. Rs. 56,100-1,77,500

Maximum Age: 40 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

5. Librarian

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: At least Second Class Master Degree. Degree/ Diploma of minimum One Year duration in Library Science.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 7. Rs. 44,900-1,42,400.

Maximum Age: 35 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

6. Medical Laboratory Technologist

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 Years relevant Experience.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 6. Rs. 35,400-1,12,400.

Maximum Age: 35 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

7. Physiotherapist

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 6. Rs. 35,400-1,12,400.

Maximum Age: 35 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

8. Accountant

No. of Post: 02

Qualification: B.Com. Preferably with Degree/Diploma in Financial Management.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 6. Rs. 35,400-1,12,400.

Maximum Age: 30 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

9. Junior Stenographer (English)

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: HSC from a recognised State Board of Education. Ability to write 80 WPM in English Shorthand and 30 WPM in English Typewriting.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 4. Rs. 25,500-81,100.

Maximum Age: 28 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

10. Library Assistant

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: SSC from a recognised State Board of Education. Certificate in Library Science of 1 Year Duration.

Pay Scale: Pay Level 2. Rs. 19,900-63,200.

Maximum Age: 30 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. Relaxable as per govt. rule.

Application Fee :

Application Fee is to be paid for each Post by Demand Draft in favour of  “Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur".

a) Associate Professor: Rs. 5000 for General & OBC and Rs. 4000 for SC & ST; 

b) Lecturer, Resident Medical Officer, Clinical Registrar and Librarian: Rs. 3500 for General & OBC and Rs. 3000 for EWS, SC & ST;

c) Medical Laboratory Technologist, Physiotherapist, Accountant, Junior Stenographer(English) and Library Assistant: Rs. 2500 for General & OBC and Rs. 2000 for EWS, SC & ST Applicants.

How To Apply : 

The Filled Application, affixed with 2 recent Passport Size Photographs, the Demand Draft of Fees, Self-attested copies of all the relevant Certificates/Documents etc. should reach the Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jorawar Singh Gate, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 by the Closing Date.

The Closing Date for Receipt of Applications for all Applicants is 60 Days from the Date of Publication of this Notification in Employment News.

The Closing Date for Receipt of Applications for the Applicants belonging to Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Lakshadweep is 70 Days from the Date of Publication in Employment News.
