Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 19 Lecturer posts in the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) and College of Teacher Education (CTE) under the Directorate of SCERT, Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online.

Eligibility Criteria of SCERT Assam Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates.

Educational Qualification: Please check the official advertisement.

Domicile: 

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate / Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form. 

 

Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.

Applicants who have not registered yet, in the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the user registration process by providing basic details. 

Documents Size: Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-20 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months) & Signature (Min size-20 KB & Max size-200 KB).
