Assam University, Silchar invites applications from eligible candidates by filling the application format and appearing the test followed by scrutiny of application and testimonials for the following purely temporary Laboratory Staffs in the Department of Agricultural Engineering.

1. Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)

No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Qualification: Graduation (B.Tech) / 3 years Diploma in relevant subject.

Essential: At least 2nd Class Bachelor Degree B.Tech/ Diploma in relevant subject with at least 3 years experience.

Remuneration: Rs.20,000 (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Not above 30 years as on the date of examination.

2. Laboratory Assistant

No. of Post: 01 (UR)

Qualification: Bachelor Degree / 3 years Diploma in relevant subject.

Remuneration: Rs.15,000 (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Not above 28 years as on the date of examination.

3. Laboratory Attendant
No. of Post: 02 [UR-1, ST-1]

Qualification: HSLC passed or equivalent.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer applications.

Remuneration: Rs.10,000 (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Not above 28 years as on the date of examination.

Schedule of Selection Test/ Syllabus:

1. Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)

• Written Test: 06/11/2019 (11 AM onwards)
• Skill/ Practical Test: 06/11/2019 (2 PM onwards)
• Syllabus: Diploma and B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering or equivalent subject (Objective pattern)

2. Laboratory Assistant

• Written Test: 07/11/2019 (11 AM onwards)
• Skill/ Practical Test: 07/11/2019 (2 PM onwards)
• Syllabus: Bachelor Degree / 3 years Diploma in relevant subject (Objective pattern)

3. Laboratory Attendant

• Written Test: 08/11/2019 (11 AM onwards)
• Skill/ Practical Test: 08/11/2019 (2 PM onwards)
• Syllabus: General Mathematics and Science : HSLC standard (Objective pattern)

Note: Applicant should mention clearly their contact number, email Id and enclose self-attested copies of all testimonials and also one copy of passport size photograph along with application on or before 10:30 AM of the date of Examination/Schedule of selection Test mentioned above.
