Applications are invited in standard form for filling up the following vacant posts of Grade-III in the Amalgamated Establishment of the Deputy Commissioner, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.

1. Junior Assistant 
No. of Vacancy: 01 (UR)

Qualification: 

• Graduate in any discipline (Arts/ Science or Commerce) from University recognized by the State Government or a Degree equivalent thereof and recognized by the Central Government.
• Candidates must have proficiency on basic Computer applications like MS-Windows, Linux, Mac Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English/ Assamese) and Internet etc.
• Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer application from Institutes recognized by the Government.

Scale of Pay: PB-14,000-49,000/-, Grade Pay- 6,200/-

2. Stenographer
No. of Vacancy: 01 (UR)

Qualification: 

• Graduate in any discipline (Arts/ Science or Commerce) from University recognized by the State Government or a Degree equivalent thereof and recognized by the Central Government.
• Candidates must have proficiency on basic Computer applications like MS-Windows, Linux, Mac Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English/ Assamese) and Internet etc.
• Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer application from Institutes recognized by the Government.
• Candidates must have short hand diploma from any Govt. recognized institution.

Scale of Pay: PB-14,000-49,000/-, Grade Pay- 6,200/-

Examination Fee: Nil.

Age Limit: 18-44 years as on 01/01/2019, The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and persons with disabilites and 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC.

Nationality: He/She must be a Citizen of India. Should have Registration in the Employment Exchange of Govt. of Assam.


Selection Process For Junior Assistant: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant will have to appear in written test on the following subjects:

1st Phase:
(A) Written Examination in the following subjects:
(i) General English (including essay writing)= 100 marks
(iii) General Knowledge= 100 marks
Total: 200 Marks

2nd Phase:

(B) On the basis of marks secured in the written Examination in the 1st phase the top 10 (ten) candidate @ 10:1 will be called for computer proficiency test which will be of 100 Marks.

Selection Process for Stenographer: Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer will have to appear in written test on the following subjects:

1st Phase:
(A) Written Examination in the following subjects:
(i) General English (including essay writing)= 100 marks
(iii) General Knowledge= 100 marks
Total: 200 Marks

2nd Phase:

(B) On the basis of marks secured in the written Examination in the 1st phase the top 10 (ten) candidate @ 10:1 will be called for Stenography and Computer proficiency test which will be of 100 Marks.

(i) Speed Test: 80 wpm (in Stenography)= 50 Marks
(ii) Proficiency test in computer= 50 Marks
Total: 100 Marks

How To Apply: For both the post a Candidate is required to apply in Govt. Prescribed standard form and submit the completely filled up form in the Drop-Box in Room No.11 in the D.C. Office, Karbi Anglong, Diphu during all office working hours up to 5 PM of 08/11/2019 (Friday).

 # The date of venue of the written test will be notified later on through 3 local News Papers in Diphu Karbi Anglong and the District website www.karbianglong.gov.in.
