Applications (in prescribed format) are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted non Ministerial post on Direct Recruitment basis by the Director, Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati 22, a subordinate office under the office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms.

Pay Scale: PB-1 + G.Pay 2400, Level -4 (25500-81100)

Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) with Diploma in Mechanical Engg. Two years experience in a weaving factory or Workshop manufacturing of Handlooms, jacquard and accessories, after acquiring Diploma.

Age: Below 30 years 

Selection Process: Written and Practical Test.
