Interview Date: 04/11/2019National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) invited eligible candidates to attend Walk-In-Interview / Written Test for the below mentioned posts for recruitment under the Project: “National Survey for the state wise prevalence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in India”.

1. Scientist-C (Medical Officer) /Consultant (Medical)
No. of Post: 1
Consolidated Salary: For Scientist-C: Rs.64,000/- + HRA Rs.8,325/-, For Consultant: Rs.70,000/-
Upper Age Limit: 40 years for Scientist-C, 70 years for Consultant.
2. Project Technical Officer (Senior Investigator)
No. of Post: 1
Consolidated Salary: Rs.32,000/-
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
3. Project Assistant (Field investigator)
No. of Post: 1
Consolidated Salary: Rs.31,000/-
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
4. Project Technician III (X-Ray Technician)

Post wise Educational Qualification:
1. Scientist-C (Medical Officer): MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with four (4) years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subjects after MBBS degree.
OR
MBBS with Post graduate degree (MD/DNB/MPH/MAE) from recognized university with one (1) year R&D / teaching experience in relevant subjects from recognized institution.
OR
MBBS with Postgraduate diploma from recognized university with (2) years R&D/ teaching.
# Consultant (Medical): Professionals with MBBS, MD or Ph.D. with relevant subject and published papers OR Retired Medical Officers from Govt / Govt. recognized Medical Institute.
2. Project Technical Officer (Senior Investigator): Graduate in Science/Epidemiology/ Public Health from a recognized University with 5 years’ work experience in a recognized institution.
OR
Master’s degree in Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University.
3. Project Assistant (Field investigator): Graduate in Science from a recognized university with three years’ experience or Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
4. Project Technician III (X-Ray Technician): 12th pass in science subjects and must have doneRadiographer/Xray Technologist course of minimum one year duration from a recognized institution.
5. Project Technician II (Laboratory Assistant): High School or equivalent with Five years’ experience in related field from Government Institution/Recognized institute OR Certificate of one year training in the DMLT from a recognised institute.
6. Data Entry Operator (Grade B): Intermediate or 12TH pass in science stream from a recognized
board with DOEACC ”A” level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
*A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
7. Senior Project Assistant (UDC): 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years’ experience of administrative work or Graduate in any discipline with 2 years’ experience of administration work And A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 8000 Key Depressions per hour in English.
Instructions to Candidates:
- The Candidates should bring 5 copies of the Bio data in the prescribed format along with all certificates/ testimonials in original for verification.
- The reporting time will be from 9.00 a.m to 10.00 a.m. and the walk-in-interview/written test will be from 11.00 a.m onwards.
- Date of Walk-in-Interview/written test may be changed due to administrative reasons, hence, candidates are advised to check official website before appearing Walk-in-Interview.
