Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat invites applications for engagement of MTS, Technician & Technical Assistant posts.

1. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
No. of Post: 12 [UR-8, SC-0, ST-1, OBC-2, EWS-1]

Qualification: 10th class pass. 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.

Pay Scale: Level-1, Rs.18,000-56,900/-

Age: 18-27 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

2. Technician (Maintenance)
No. of Post: 03 (UR) [Electrician-1, Plumber-1, Bamboo Worker-1]

Qualification: Matriculation with ITI certificate in relevant trade.

Pay Scale: Level-2, Rs.19,900-63,200/-

Age: 18-30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3. Technical Assistant

No. of Post: 08 [UR-3, SC-2, ST-0, OBC-2, EWS-1] (Chemistry-2, Botany-1, Zoology-1, Agriculture-2, Forestry-2)

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Level-5, Rs.29,200-92,300/-

Age: 21-30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Application Fee: Non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs.200 only from nationalized Bank in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.

Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees. SC/ST candidates who apply against the vacancy of their respective quota are also exempted from payment of fees. Relaxation in fees is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts.

Venue of Written Test: Jorhat, Agartala and Aizawl.
