Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Social Worker under the department of Pain & Palliative Care, to be funded by Jiv Daya Foundation, at 200 Bedded Cancer Hospital, Gauhati Medical College, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-781032.

Qualifications: Three years Graduate degree in Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology with 3 years experience in the relevant community based service in Palliative Care. OR Master's Degree in Social Work.

Desirable: (a) Preferably working in the field of Palliative Care. (b) Knowledge of computer applications.

Age: Below 35 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17,000/- per month

Period of Engagement: The posts are purely temporary on contractual basis. The appointment will be initially for a period for 1 year which may be renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
