AAU, Jorhat is going to fill up the following vacant posts on contractual basis under the Project APART presently functioning in different stations/districts including Jorhat campus under Assam Agricultural University. 

1. Research Technician
No. of Vacancy: 07

Qualification: Higher Secondary in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream (10+2) or its equivalent examination pass.

Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in rice production or farming and rice machinery operations. Experience in organizing Farmer's meetings and community mobilization would be an added advantage. 

# Note: The incumbent must possess a  valid driving license for motor-bike as the job would require extensive local travel in rural areas.

Remuneration: Rs.1.80 lakh to 2.19 lakhs per year.



2. Junior Office Assistant - OPIU
No. of Vacancy: 01

Qualification: Higher Secondary in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream (10+2) or its equivalent examination pass.

Desirable Qualification: Basic knowledge of Computer operations as reflected from acquiring 6(Six) months Diploma Course in Computer operation from a reputed institution.

Remuneration: Rs.1.80 lakh per year.
