Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat invites eligible candidates to appear a walk-in-interview for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF, Temporary basis) of the following project will be held in Department of Agronomy, AAU, Jorhat-13.

Name of the Project: “Bio-prospecting of some indigenous medicinal plants of NE region of India with special reference to Anti-inflammatory properties”

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: M.Sc. (Agri) in Agril. (Bio) chemistry or M.Sc. with NET/ M.Phil./ Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Botany with specialization in Plant Taxonomy.

Desirable: Experience/ Sound knowledge in DNA Extraction, PCR, Sequence analysis.

Pay Scale: For 1st & 2nd year: 25000.00/- pm + 10% HRA 

Duration: Up to September 2021

Walk-in-Interview: Intending candidates having requisite qualification may report at the time of interview and submit application in plain paper enclosing bio-data, photograph and original and copies of relevant testimonials as per and time.
