Assam Secondary TET 2019 : Last Date Extended - Now Distance Education Can Apply

TET Empowered Committee, Govt. of Assam now allowed candidates who have obtained their Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates under Distance Education Mode to apply in the Medium-wise Secondary TET 2019. 

The Date of submission of Online Application for Medium wise TET for Secondary Education is also extended till 30.11.2019.

Modification/ Changes: As per the recent notification published by Govt. of Assam, in pursuance to the advertisement of Medium TET of Secondary level in Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Hindi/ Manipuri medium, that the following partial modifications have been made in the eligibility criteria:

(a) The Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates under Distance Education Mode conferred by K.KHandique State Open University, Indira Gandhi National Open University (1GNOU), Institute of Distance and Open Leaming (IDOL) under Gauhati University and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University shall be considered at par and valid with the Degrees Diplomas and Certificates awarded by State, Central and Private Universities duly established as per law passed by the Parliament and State Legislature and duly recognized by the University Grants Commission.

# Other terms and conditions/ eligibility criteria etc. will remain same as per aforementioned advertisement nos.

(b) Date of submission of Online Application for Medium wise TET for Secondary Education is extended till 30.11.2019. Consequently, online fee submission date has been extended till 04.12.2019.
