Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati invites eligible candidates to appear a walk-in-interview for the following positions which shall be filled purely on contractual basis under a project of DBT, Govt. of India, in the Department of Microbiology, GMCH, Guwahati-32, Assam.

DBT Project Name: "Comprehensive approach on NTM Species Identification, drug susceptibility testing methods, and strengthening NE state laboratories."

1. Laboratory Technician
No. of Post: 01

Qualification:

• B.Sc MLT with two years of experience in Microbiology division of Clinical Laboratory.
• Must be able to work with automated systems such as Bactec, Vitek, Real-time PCR etc.

Desirable:

• Experience of working in Molecular Biology Laboratory.
• Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)

2. Lab Attendant
No. of Post: 02

Qualification:

• 12th passed in Science Stream from a recognized Institute.
• Experience of working in Hospital Laboratory (2 years).
• Knowledge of Computers (PGDCA).

• Date: 16/12/2019 (Monday)
• Time: 10 AM onwards
• Venue: Department of Microbiology, 5th Floor, Narakasur Hill Top, Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati-781032 (Assam).
