Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati invites eligible candidates to appear a walk-in-interview for the following positions which shall be filled purely on temporary basis under a project of DBT, Govt. of India, in the Department of Microbiology, GMCH, Guwahati-32, Assam.

Name of the DBT Project (Multicentric): "Streptococcus pneumonia and Hemophilus influenza serotypes distribution and antibiotic resistance in isolates from pediatric pneumonia cases in Assam".

Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or B.Sc. with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).

Desirable: Experience in doing Lab related Microbiology work.

Remuneration: Rs.17,000 per month.
