Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU) invites applications from the Indian citizens for the following Academic and Non-Academic posts.

1. Assistant Professor in Education

No. of Post: 01 post

Qualification: 

(i) A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. 60 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4]

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/ SLET/ SET.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 57,700/- – Rs.1,84,200 /- (Academic Level 10)
Maximum Age: As per State Government rule.

2. Junior Assistant

No. of Post: 02 Posts

Essential Qualifications:
i) A Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
ii) 2 (Two) years working experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system.

Desirable Qualifications:
i) A degree / diploma in Distance Education.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- – Rs.49,000/- with Grade pay Rs. 6,400/-
Maximum Age: As per State Government rule.

3. Junior Accounts Assistant

No. of Post: 01 Post

Essential Qualifications:

i) A Bachelor Degree in Commerce or 5 years working experience in Accounts Section of any educational institution in case of Arts/ Science Graduate.

ii) Adequate knowledge of Computer in Tally etc.
iii) 2 (Two) years working experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system.

Desirable Qualifications:
i) A degree / diploma in Distance Education.

Application Fee: Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of KKHSOU to be drawn at Guwahati.
