A walk-in-Interview will be held in the Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University for selection of one (01) temporary position of Project Assistant for an IITM, Pune (Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India) sponsored project.

Project Name: “Soil-plant atmosphere study in relation to Net CO2 flux from terrestrial ecosystem of Assam”.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Nirmali Gogoi, Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should be M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Physics/ Geo-Physics having minimum two years of experience in handling Eddy Covariance system in forest ecosystem.

Fellowship: Rs. 22,000/- per month (fixed).

Duration: Two (02) years three (03) months or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
