IHM Guwahati Recruitment 2020 - Details:

1. Lecturer

No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Scale of Pay: Pay matrix Rs. 44900/- to 142400/-, Level- 7

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years, (as on 01.01.2020), Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules.

2. Assistant Lecturer

No. of Post : 2 nos. – 1 (UR), 1 (ST)

Salary: Pay matrix Rs. 35400/- to 112400/-, Level - 6

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, (as on 01.01.2020), Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules.

3. Teaching Associates

No. of Post: 1 (SC)

Salary: Consolidated Associateship amount of Rs.25,000/- per month

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years, (as on 01.01.2020), Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. Lecturer/ Assistant Lecturer:

Post Graduate in Hospitality/ Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/ Institute.

AND (+)

Full time Degree/ Full time three years Diploma in Hotel Administration/ Hospitality Management/ Hotel Management/ Hospitality Administration/ Culinary Arts/ Culinary Science with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from:

• NCHMCT or NCHMCT affiliated Institute OR
• An Institute approved by AICTE, OR
• An Institute approved by the State Board of Technical Education. OR
• An Institute affiliated to University duly recognized by UGC. OR
• Central/State/Deemed to be University recognized by UGC. OR
• Equivalent degree/Diploma of foreign university/ Institute recognized by AIU.

2. Teaching Associates:

Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/ Culinary Art securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institute after a full time degree (of minimum of 3 years duration) in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/ Culinary art, securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institute and should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.

 OR

Full time Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of minimum 3 years duration for which minimum prerequisite qualification is 12th passed as framed by regular/University in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/Hotel Management/ Culinary Art from a recognized University/ Institute securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate and at least 2 years of hospitality industry experience and also should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.
