Name of the Post: Specialist (Hydro)

No. of Post: 06 (Six)

• Noida- 2 Posts and one each at IWAI, 
• Kolkata- 1 Post
• Guwahati- 1 Post
• Patna- 1 Post
• Varanasi- 1 Post

Remuneration: Rs. 85,000/- (Eighty-Five Thousand only) per month.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on closing date of receipt of application. (However, for deserving candidate age relaxation may be considered depending on the health and experience).

Educational Qualification:

(a) A Cat “B” Hydrographer / SR-1 from a IHO Certified Institute OR B.Tech (Civil Engg.) / B.Tech (Survey Engg.) OR  Associate Member of Institution of Surveyors in Subdivision I(B)

(b) Minimum post qualification, experience of 15 years in conducting Hydrographic Survey, investigation and measurements. Bathymetric Surveys (as per SP 44 standards), Topographic Survey in a variety of Geographical locations. Experience in waterways/port/river mapping with proficiency in using the GIS Software working knowledge, Spatial data formats and related metadata issues.

Working knowledge on S-57 data and ENC. Working knowledge of web mapping applications such as Google Earth, Bhuvan. Caris GIs etc.
