Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) Recruitment 2020: Applications are invited for recruitment to the following posts in Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT), Principal Bench, New Delhi and Regional Benches at Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Jammu on deputation basis for a period of 3 years.

1. Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer
Total Post: 01

Eligibility:
Officers of organised accounts cadre of the Central Government
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis
or
(ii) with five years regular service in the level-12 in the pay matrix (Rs 78800-209200)


2. Registrar
Total Post: 02

Eligibility:
Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or District Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits or Judge Advocate General Branch of Army Navy & Air Force and other similar institutions

(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department OR five years regular service in the parent cadre or Department in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix.
(b) holding degree in law from a recognised University.


3. Joint Registrar
Total Post: 02

Eligibility:
Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or District Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits possessing a degree in law.

(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department OR five years regular service in the parent cadre or department in a post in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix.
(b) having ten years of experience in and Administrative or Judicial works.


4. Deputy Registrar
Total Post: 09

Eligibility:
Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or District Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits

(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department 
or
five years regular service in the parent or department in a post in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix level
or
Six years regular service in the parent cadre or department in a post in Level8 of the Pay Matrix level or
Seven years regular service in the parent cadre or department in a post in Level7 of the Pay Matrix level,
(b) having five years of experience in personnel and Administrative or Judicial works.


5. Principal Private Secretary
Total Post: 14

Eligibility:
Stenographers in Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or District Couns or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits

(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department
or
(b) with six years regular service in the parent cadre or department in posts in Level 8 of the Pay Matrix
or
(c) with seven years in regular service in the parent cadre or department in posts in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix.



6. Private Secretary
Total Post: 04

Eligibility:
Stenographers in Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or Subordinate Courts or Statutory/Autonomous having pensionary benefits, holding:

(a) analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department.
or
(b) a post in Level- 6 of the Pay Matrix with five years regular service in the grade.


7. Section Officer/ Tribunal Officer
Total Post: 07

Eligibility:
Persons working under Central Government or State Government or Supreme Court or High Courts or Subordinate Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits: 

(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department,
or
a post in Level- 5 of the Pay Matrix with five years regular service in the grade, and

(b)  possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree of a recognized university
(ii) Having 2 years experience in personnel, administrative or judicial work.




8. Assistant

Total Post: 09

Eligibility:
Officials working under Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or Subordinate Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies having pensionary benefits.

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department, 
or
(ii) Upper Division Clerks in level 4 of the pay matrix with 10 years regular service in the grade in Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or Subordinate Courts

(b) (i) Possessing Degree from recognized university
(ii) having 2 years experience in establishment, administration or Accounts.




9. Tribunal Master/ Stenographer (Grade-I)

Total Post: 17

Eligibility:
Stenographers in Central Government or State Governments or Supreme Court or High Courts or Subordinate Courts or Statutory/Autonomous having pensionary benefits, holding:

(a) analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department.
or
(b) holding a post in Level- 4 of the Pay Matrix with 10 years regular service in the grade.


10. Junior Accounts Officer
Total Post: 04

Eligibility:
Officers under the Central Governments:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department,
or
(ii) with six years service in the level-5 in the Pay Matrix within rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis, and

(b) who have under gone training in cash and accounts work in the institute of Secretariat training and management or an equivalent course and having two years experience of cash accounts and budget work.


11. Upper Division Clerk
Total Post: 10

Eligibility:
Officials working under Central Government or State Governments or Tribunal or Commission or Statutory bodies or Courts:

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis 
or
(ii) holding the post in Level-2 of the Pay Matrix with 8 years regular service in the grade.




Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.


How To Apply:

The application in the prescribed pro forma (Annexure-1) of the eligible officer, who can be spared in
the event of his/her selection may be forwarded to the Principal Registrar, Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, West Block-VIll, Sector-l, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 by the Department latest by 13 March 2020 along with photocopies of the Annual Confidential Reports for the last five years of the candidates along with Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
