Applications are invited by the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati for admission into various Diploma Courses under various Institutes of Paramedical Sciences in the state of Assam, as a special drive for students of Tea Tribes Community of Assam.

Latest Update on 19 October 2020: Notice for submission of course option by the shortlisted candidates for Special Paramedical Diploma Courses for the year 2019-20: On the basis of the applications received by the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati regarding admission into various Diploma Courses under various Institutes of Paramedical Sciences in the state of Assam vide Advertisement No. DTGW/DEV/16/2017/Pt-I/141, dated 20th February, 2020 the 117 nos. of applicants as per Annexure I from Science Stream who has been short-listed by the Directorate are hereby directed to provide and submit their course option to the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare in the mail id  director-ttw@assam.gov.in within 10th November, 2020  as per list of Courses at Annexure-II.

Tea Tribes Welfare, Diploma Course, Assam 2020 - Details:

Name of the Course: Diploma Course (for Tea Tribes Community)

Total Seats: 250

Age Limit: 17 to 27 years of age as on 01.01.2020

Cost of Diploma Course: For selected Candidates will be free and financial assistance will also be provided as per the norms of the Tea Tribes Welfare Department.

Eligibility Criteria - 

(a) Candidates should have Caste certificate belonging to Tea Tribes Community of Assam.

(b) Candidate should pass 10+2 examinations preferably in Science or equivalent exam.

(c) Candidates should have English as one of the subject securing minimum 40% marks in Higher Secondary final examination.

Diploma Course Details

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates as per district wise merit fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall be called for verification of their documents and oral interview by a Screening Committee in Guwahati for final selection.
