IGNOU Postponed June Exams 2020: Assignment Submission Last Date May 15 (Without Late Fees)

IGNOU Postponed June Exams 2020: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has postponed the June Term End Examination. due to the lockdown caused by the COVID-19. Earlier the exam was scheduled to begin on June 1, 2020. The new revised set of dates for Exams will be decided later taking cognizance of the situation and the students will be informed at least 15 days in advance.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nageswara Rao has informed that the students will be informed 15 days before the commencement of the new date of examination. Note that today i.e. on May 5, Prof. Nageswara Rao will also communicate with all the students at ten o'clock. Over 5 lakh students are expected to appear in the IGNOU TEE exam this year. They will connect with students through Facebook Live sessions.

The Vice-Chancellor also stated that to provide sufficient time to the learners, the dates of assignment, examination form submission, and re-admission have already been extended by May 31, 2020, by the university. So that they can fill the Assignment and Examination Form in time.

Candidates who will appear for the June Term End exam have to submit their assignment on or before May 15. The option to submit the assignment is open till May 31, however after May 15 candidates have to deposit late fees. To make it easy for students, IGNOU has also allowed them to submit their assignments online. 

According to IGNOU administration, earlier the date of online application for new and old admissions in June term and examination, the June session has already been extended till May 31. Information related to the revised dates of assignment submission, exam form submission, and re-admission can be obtained from the official website of IGNOU www.ignou.ac.in.
