Below we have given the Syllabus & Selection Process for each post of Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat Recruitment 2020.

1. Syllabus & Selection Process for Under Secretary:

There will be two tests for recruitment in the Under Secretary post, which will be conducted by the Selection Board nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly.

(i) Written Examination

(ii) Viva-Voce 

The syllabus for the written examination which will be of 100 marks in total including:

a) Current Affairs,

b) Mathematical Aptitude,

c) General English,

d) Assamese Literature.

2. Syllabus & Selection Process for Librarian:

There will be two tests for recruitment in the Librarian post, which will be conducted by the Selection Board nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly.

(i) Written Examination

(ii) Viva-Voce

The syllabus for the written examination which will be of 100 marks in total including:

a) Library Science

b) Current Affairs

c) Mathematical Aptitude

d) General English

e) Assamese Literature

3. Syllabus & Selection Process for Assistant Language Officer:

There will be two tests for recruitment in the Assistant Language Officer post, which will be conducted by the Selection Board nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly. 

(i) Written Examination

(ii) Viva-Voce

The syllabus for the written examination which will be of 100 marks in total including:

a) Current Affairs,

b) Mathematical Aptitude

c) Passage Writing

4. Syllabus & Selection Process for Deputy Marshal:

Candidates will have to appear for Oral Interview.

5. Syllabus & Selection Process for English Reporter:

There will be a Speed Test of 120 wpm which will be conducted by the Selection Committee nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly.

6. Syllabus & Selection Process for Stenographer:

There will be a Speed Test of 120 wpm which will be conducted by the Selection Committee nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly.

7. Syllabus & Selection Process for Language Reporter:

There will be a Speed Test of 100 wpm which will be conducted by the Selection Committee nominated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly.

8. Syllabus & Selection Process for Assistant Librarian:

Candidates will have to appear for Written Examination. The syllabus for the written examination which will be of 100 marks in total including:

a) Library Science

b) Current Affairs

c) Mathematical Aptitude

d) General English
