ADVERTISEMENT CANCELLATION NOTICE

In pursuance of the advertisement No. SLPRB/REC/DES/GD-III/2020/87 dated 26.09-2020 published by State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam where in advertisement issued for recruitment of 133 Grade-III posts is hereby stands cancelled as per directive of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam vide Govt. letter No PDS.108/2012/301 dated 22nd February. 2022.

Directorate of Economics and Statistics Assam Recruitment 2020 Details:

1. Sub-Inspector of Statistics

No of Posts: 35 Posts

Educational Qualification: The Candidates must be a Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics as one of the subjects from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification:-

a) Candidates having 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer proficiency from a recognized Institute.

b) Candidates having good working knowledge of office productivity software, tools (independent of any operating system, i.e.MS Windows, Linux, MAC etc.) such as Word Processor, Spread sheet, Presentation graphics, Concept of database, internet and e-mail.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49,000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade pay of Rs.7,600/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.

2. Junior Artist- cum Draftsman

No of Posts: 01 Post

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2)or equivalent examination passed in any stream from recognized Board /Council and having diploma/certificate in fine Arts from recognized Art Institution. Also, knowledge in Computer graphics presentation etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49,000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade pay of Rs.7,400/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.

3. Junior Assistant (Hqrs.)

No of Posts: 12 Posts

Educational Qualification: A candidate must be a Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government. Also, a candidate must possess minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer proficiency from a recognized Institute.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in drafting in English and Assamese précis composing is desirable. Good working knowledge of all the software of MS office and other ICT tools.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49,000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.

4. Primary Investigator/ Computor

No of Posts: 30 Posts

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed in any stream from recognized Board/Council with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subject.

Desirable Qualification:-

a) Candidates having 6 (six) months Diploma/ Certificate in Computer proficiency from a recognized Institute.

b) Candidates having good working knowledge of office productivity software, tools (independent of any operating system, i.e. MS Windows, Linux, MAC etc.) such as Word Processor, Spread sheet, Presentation graphics, Concept of database, internet and e-mail.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49,000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.

5. Field Assistant

No of Posts: 55 Posts

Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from recognized Board with Mathematics as one of the subject.

Desirable Qualification: Candidate having knowledge of Computer proficiency for data collection and transmission from field level through online. Preference will be given to those candidates who have got knowledge/experience of field work of statistical nature.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49,000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade pay of Rs.5,600/- with other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Age Limit:

Candidates age must need to be between 18 years to 40 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and after 01.01.1980).

Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation will be as below followed.

a) 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H).

b) 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC.

c) Upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years in respect of Trained Home Guards who have served for a minimum period of 3 years or more. (Certificate to this effect from competent authority will have to be submitted)

Note: The Advertisement dated 27-07-2014 issued by the Director of Economics & Statistics, Assam, for filling up of 117 Grade-III posts is hereby stands cancelled as approved by the Govt. vide letter No.PDS.108/2012/128 dated 30th June, 2020.
