Gauhati University Recruitment 2020 Details:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post: 1 Post (for DBT-GOI funded project on the topic entitled, "Attempt to develop diagnostics and preventive measure for suspected fish viral diseases encountered in Assam" in the Dept of Zoology)

Qualification: M.Sc.in Zoology with specialization in Fish Biology & Fishery Science.

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post: 1 Post (the DBT-GOI funded project on the topic entitled "Establishment of captive breeding protocols and value additions to selected indigenous ornamental fishes from North East India" in the Dept of Zoology)

Qualification: M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Fish Biology & Fishery Science. Candidates with experience in breeding and culture of indigenous fishes will be given preference.

Remuneration: 14,000/- per month plus 20% HRA.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 2l years and not more than 45 years.
